Now that I have a good assortment of bottles I am aging I wanted a good way to keep track of what I had. I looked into some apps but the best one that I found is CellarHQ.
They have a large database of beers so when you’re adding a bottle you only need three characters before it will start to offer suggestions and I have yet to have a bottle that was not in their database.
CellarHQ also allows you the enter quantity, size, as well as bottled date, though I found the majority of the beers I had did not list the date it was bottled. Hopefully this will be adopted by more and more brewers, especially for the bigger beers that can be aged.
